Supplement facts

Prostate Recovery tincture is a safe, proprietary selection of special herbs renowned for their prostate rejuvenation properties. Concentrated Extracts of these herbs have been blended in a powerfully effective combination to increase assimilation and effective potency of each ingredient while eliminating unwanted side-effects. Gathered from throughout India, they include:

Shatavari - Asparagus Racemosus (Shatavari) Shatavari is a rejuvenating herb that soothes the body to relieve stress and nurtures the reproductive system by strengthening its tissues. It contains saponins Shatavarin I to IV which are phytoestrogen compounds. Phytoestrogens mimic and supplement the action of estrogen. There is growing evidence that estrogens play a role in the etiology of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This is based on the fact that BPH occurs when men generally have elevated estrogen levels and when prostate tissue becomes more sensitive to estrogen. Excess estrogen also shuts down production of testosterone by saturating testosterone receptors in the hypothalamus. Phytoestrogens complete with natural estrogens for estrogen receptors on cells. By binding to the receptors, phytoestrogens prevent the negative impact of estrogen on the body. Shatavari also contains alkaloids, proteins, starch, tannins, and mucilage which help relieve inflammation and improve urine retention and urination. Research indicates that these constituents inhibit protein deposits in the lumen of the prostate. Long-term accumulation of protein obstructs the prostate ducts. Shatavari supports proper liver function and metabolic processes to remove toxins from the blood. This herb is also known to increase Sattwa, or positivity and healing power. It enhances the feelings of spiritual love and opens Ojas ("that through which consciousness enters the physiology"). When combined properly with other herbs, Shatavari takes emotional acuity and capacity to new levels.

Punarnava - Boerhavia Diffusa (Boerhavia) Punarnava contains alkaloids, ß-sitosterol, ursolic acid, Vitamins D, and E. Research indicates Punarnava helps regulate production of polyamine and prostaglandins which are powerful immuno-suppressants produced in the prostate. These active principals also support and balance the healthy flow of urine by toning smooth muscles located in the urinogenital system and reducing inflammation of the urethra and prostate. Punarnava is used throughout India for treating organ disorders, stimulating liver function, and promoting blood circulation. Punarnava also empowers the body's metabolism to burn fat and calories at a higher rate.

Kanchanara - Bauhinia Variegata (Orchid Tree) Kanchanara is famous for maintaining prostate health and function in Ayurveda. It contains flavonoids and fatty oils. When levels of dihydrotestoterone (DHT), a metabolite of testosterone increases, binding of DHT to receptors in the prostate cell is increased which leads to growth of prostate tissue. This tissue growth takes place in the part of the prostate which surrounds the urethra and constricts it, thus causing urinary disturbances. Kanchanara inhibits an enzyme that controls conversion of testosterone to DHT. It also blocks the binding of DHT to the prostate cells, thereby preventing constriction of the urethra and stopping urinary disturbances. Kanchanara's constituents have positive impact on prostate gland structure by clearing impurities from blood, muscle, and fat.

Gokshura - Tribulus Terrestris (Tribulus) Gokshura contains the following phytonutrients: Ascorbic-Acid, Aspartic-Acid, Astragalin, Beta-Sitosterol, Calcium, Campesterol, Chlorogenin, Daucosterol, Diosgenin, Fiber, Gitogenin, Glutamic-Acid, Harman, Harmine, Iron, Kaempferol, Oleic-Acid, Palmitic-Acid. Phosphorus, Potassium, Protodioscin, Quercetin, Ruscogenin, Rutin, Stearic-Acid and Stigmasterol. Gokshura is a sex and mood enhancer that stimulates the production of the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). When LH levels are elevated, the natural production of testosterone also increases. LH is a hormone that also increases sex drive and virility. Research indicates Gokshura extract can significantly improve the quantity and quality of sperm; laboratory studies have found that Gokshura increases sperm count after being taken for 30 days and can result in more than 50% increase in testosterone levels. This herb also has a stimulating effect on the liver by helping to convert cholesterol and fats into hormones and energy. By promoting production of the body's own hormones, Gokshura works within the body's natural equilibrium to help men achieve their strength and muscular potential. Traditionally it has been used to ease painful, burning sensations experienced during urination.

Varuna - Crateva Nurvala (Three-Leaf Caper) Ancient Ayurvedic practitioners used Varuna as an internal purifier that helped maintain homeostasis and balance. Varuna has been the herb of choice for maintaining healthy urinary tract and bladder function. Varuna is a bladder tonic that purges the urinary tract and improves kidney efficiency. It helps to clear waste matter from the body more efficiently. Varuna serves as a bladder tonic by improving tissue tone and decreasing residual urine volume. It also helps prevent the formation of stones in the urinary tract.

Guggulu - Commiphora Mukul (Guggul) Guggulu contains the following phytonutrients: Aluminum, Beta-Sitosterol, Calcium, Cholesterol, Copper, Ellagic-Acid, Ferulic-Acid, Guaijaverin, Hyperoside, Iron, Magnesium, Quercetin, Quercetin-3-O-Beta-D-Glucuronide, and Quercitrin. The principal constituents of Guggulu are manusumbionic acid and manusumbinone which confer significant protection against the development of atherosclerosis, a disease affecting the arterial blood vessel. They increase plasma fibrinolytic activity which aids in blood-clotting and prevents foreign bodies from entering the body. Manusumbionic acid and manusumbinone also increase leucocytes in the blood and stimulate phagocytosis which removes foreign bodies to fight infections. Guggulu is also a thyroid tonic that promotes the gland's enzymatic activity and improves its ability to absorb iodine, the essential trace mineral for thyroid hormone production. By helping to normalize hormonal levels and exhibiting anti-inflammatory properties, Guggulu rejuvenates the immune system and supports balanced cell production. By reducing the levels of polyamines and prostaglandins that directly contribute to prostate problems and poor immune response, Guggulu promotes long-term prostate health.

Tulasi - Ocimum Tenuiflorum (Holy Basil) Tulasi contains the following phytonutrients: Ascorbic-Acid, Beta-Carotene, Beta-Sitosterol, Carvacrol, Eugenol, Eugenol-Methyl-Ether, Linoleic-Acid, Methyl-Chavicol, Mucilage, Oleic-Acid, Palmitic-Acid, Saponins, Stearic-Acid, Tannin and Xylose. Tulasi is a herb used to treat common ailments. Rich in vitamin C, carotene, calcium, and phosphorus, it has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties. Findings from various investigations suggest that Tulasi has application as a pain-killer, an anti-inflammatory agent, an antioxidant, and as a treatment for bacterial, fungal, and even viral infections. Ursolic acid, a triterpene from Tulasi leaves, reduces histamine-release by elevating the number of mast cells in the body. Mast cells are best known for their role in allergy protection, wound healing, and defense against pathogens. Tulasi constituents also have anti-pyretic activity (fever reducing). Tulasi has been used for centuries to treat a variety of inflammation disorders.

Lajjulu - Mimosa Pudica (Sensitive Plant) Lajjulu contains the following phytonutrients: Ascorbic-Acid, Beta-Carotene, Calcium, Crocetin, Fiber, Iron, Linoleic-Acid, Mimosine, Mucilage, Oleic-Acid, Palmitic-Acid, Phosphorus, Potassium, Riboflavin, Stearic-Acid, Tannin and Thiamin. Lajjulu is a much regarded herb in Ayurveda due to its regenerative properties. Lajjulu has anti-bacterial, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-pyretic, sedative, relaxing, expectorant, and tonic properties. Research studies on the plant indicate that Lajjulu retards mitosis during mammalian cell growth. This suggests that the active constituents of Lajjulu have inhibitory effect on abnormal prostate growth.

These ingredients comprise a Proprietary Blend that goes to work directly on the entire male reproductive system and genitalia with positive impact on hormonal levels, immune response, and prostate health.
